Straightforward Pricing. No Long-term Commitment.

Initial Visit — $200

  • Review of your symptoms and health history

  • Focused orthopedic and functional assessment

  • Individualized acupuncture treatment

  • Discussion of findings and treatment options

  • Initial treatment plan

  • 75 minutes

Follow-Up Visits — $150

  • Focused reassessment

  • Individualized acupuncture treatment

  • Adjustment of treatment based on your progress

  • Discussion of function and next steps

  • 60 minutes

Optional 2-Visit Start — $300

  • This option includes your 75-minute initial visit plus one 60-minute follow-up.

  • Most musculoskeletal problems respond more reliably to two closely spaced visits than to a single session. Some patients prefer to schedule that follow-up in advance so progress can be reassessed after the first treatment.

  • There is no additional charge for the second appointment.

*Prices include Hawaiʻi GET. There is no additional tax added at the visit. A 3.6% transaction fee applies to card payments.

Insurance Information

Veterans Affairs (VA/TriWest)

  • Archetype Acupuncture is an authorized provider in the VA Community Care Network through TriWest Healthcare Alliance. Authorized visits are billed to the VA/TriWest and have no out-of-pocket cost to the patient.

  • To begin care, ask your VA provider for a referral to: Archetype Acupuncture — Sun Yun, LAc

  • After authorization is received, the office will contact you to schedule.

Other Insurance

  • Archetype Acupuncture is a private-pay practice and does not participate with commercial insurance plans.

  • We do not bill commercial insurance plans, Medicare, Workers' Compensation, or auto/personal-injury claims.

  • You may still be able to receive reimbursement depending on your individual insurance plan.

Superbills

  • Upon request, we can provide a superbill—an itemized receipt that you may submit independently to your insurance company.

  • Please contact your insurer before treatment to determine whether acupuncture is covered and whether you have out-of-network benefits.

  • Reimbursement is determined by your insurance company and is not guaranteed.

  • Submitting the claim and following up with your insurer are the patient's responsibility.

Payment & Appointment Policies

Payment

  • Cash, check, Venmo, credit and debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards are accepted. A 3.6% processing fee applies to card payments.

Card on file

  • A valid credit card is required to reserve every appointment. It is used only if a visit is missed or cancelled late. It is not charged for authorized treatment.

Cancellation

  • Give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full visit fee.
